Applying for renters insurance

Renter’s insurance is required for all residents in properties owned by The Office419. Similar to house or car insurance, it’s a great way to protect your apartment and your belongings from any disasters or unexpected situations that might occur during your lease term. In many cases, you can add renter’s insurance onto insurance you already have such as a car insurance plan. Renter’s insurance is simple to sign up for and the average cost in the Toledo area is $26 per month. A few different companies that offer renter’s insurance in Ohio include State Farm, Nationwide, Liberty Mutual, Allstate and Farmer’s Insurance.

If you are living in a property managed by The Office419, we require:

• $500,000 Personal Liability

• The name of the property you are living in must listed as additional insured (see move in packet for the legal name of your specific property)

• Coverage must be for the full term of your lease

• If one policy is to cover multiple leaseholders, each leaseholder name must be listed on the declaration page
